Snow Storms 12/21/06, 12/28/06, 1/05/07

On the way to church Christmas EveLook Mom, I'm standing! The week before Christmas we went to Utah for MaeLyn's brother Joel's wedding. When we returned home, we discovered a snow storm had hit in our absence!

Luckily we live in a condo so our driveway was plowed and a path had been shoveled around to our front door, where we found a plate of cookies left by our home teacher, covered by a mountain of snow!

Doesn't this look pretty? Pretty cold? See all the icicles?

The kids had fun playing in the snow, making snow angels, sledding down the hill, and trying to make a snowman in the fluffy powder. Peter got cold after just a few moments standing on the doorstep, but Hannah and John have spent hours playing in the snow.

This was the first white Christmas we have ever had, and it was a lot of fun. Then it snowed again on December 28th, and a third snowstorm hit today, January 5th, making three in a row. It's been fun, but it will be nice when the streets are plowed completely and we stop slipping and sliding and getting stuck in snow banks!
