The Hiatt Family went camping on June 22, 2006 at Estes Park Campground. MaeLyn's brother Jarom and his wife, Linda, came with us. |

We borrowed an eight man tent from a friend so we would have plenty of sleeping space, and let Jarom and Linda use our smaller tent. |

We enjoyed a campfire, and made foil dinners one of the nights we were there. |

| The scenery was amazing. We hiked to a nearby reservoir, and explored the tree covered hill behind our campsite. |

On Friday we went to a park by the lake in Estes Park. We played at the playground, flew kites, climbed rocks, and had lots of fun! |

The playground at the campsite was dangerous. Josh flipped off a see-saw and scraped the side of his face. Hannah fell off a swing and scraped up her lip and right cheek. |

In spite of the injuries and sleepless nights (we discovered later that Peter had been teething) We had lots of fun! |
